As a Survey Technician, you will perform fieldwork and support survey and mapping activities across Civil Field Services. You will play a key role in collecting accurate site data, supporting construction verification, and ensuring equipment reliability. This role follows a 10\u 2011 hour\/4\u 2011 day work schedule, Monday-Thursday, with occasional overtime and extensive overnight travel (90%-100%) weekly in AL, GA, and MS Collect survey data using a total station, level, or GPS equipment. Perform construction verification oversight on assigned projects. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in the field. Accurately record and report technical survey data. Qualifications: Education: Vocational training, preferred OR a combination of education and experience Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience working with a survey field crew Experience operating and maintaining survey equipment (instruments, data collectors, computers) Certifications: Ability to obtain DOT-certified driver's license\/vessel operator license PLS license in Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and\/or Alabama is a plus Key Competencies: Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) using the English language Strong understanding of safety rules and environmental regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
