This position trains and supervises daily activities of employees. He/ She ensures all assigned duties are accomplished safely and in a timely fashion. Responsibilities:Supervises and trains Union Revenue Recovery employees. Conducts audits of procedures and methods to generate reports/results. Calibrates, validates, audits and guarantees units are good to bill. Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with Department, station, Corporate and Local government requirements. Manages Department resources to ensure maximum outputs, accuracy and efficiency at all times. Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement/engagement, proactive communication, problem-solving, interdepartmental cooperation and continual improvement on all levels. Implements employee personal development plans required to ensure all continuing professional growth of department personnel. Includes completion of Safety training and new implementations in a timely manner. Ensure all Department employees receives and relay specific information, detail oriented, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, payroll, entitlement scheduling, compiling and sending reports, proactive coaching to support continued development. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred. Management experience - Preferred. Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle. Reliable transportation and flexibility to schedule (start times vary upon volume)Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to problem solve and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The candidate must be experienced in Access, Excel, Word, and, PowerPoint. Ability to lift over 70 lbs/ Climb ladders and stairs. Hours:Minimum of 5 hours per day/25 hours per week guaranteed. As business dictates - Possibility of working more hours. Position guarantees 25 hours per week. Schedule and Location:This is a La Mirada Day sort Supervisor Position. La Mirada Day sort is Monday to Friday work shift. Start times vary between 12:00 PM/1:00 PM and 2:15 PM - Flexibility of hours to calibrate and test DWS Units if needed prior to start time - Typically 2 hours - 2.5 hours prior to start time. Willingness and availability to cover coworker days off and vacations. Reliable transportation required. Possible assistance in sister Hub down the street - Cerritos Facility.
