As a Technical Business Development Manager on the AWS Compute GTM and SSA team, you will: Drive Revenue Growth: Design and execute GTM programs that unlock new customer segments and enable incremental spend across the AWS Compute portfolio Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to develop comprehensive GTM approaches that address customer demand Own Strategic Initiatives: Work independently to deliver results in ambiguous environments, demonstrating strong ownership and problem-solving skills Communicate with Impact: Regularly engage with senior leadership, providing insights and reporting on GTM initiatives on weekly and monthly cadences Influence Product Strategy: Collaborate with technical and product stakeholders to shape roadmaps and secure progress toward shared business goals. A day in the life. No day is the same, this role will work with Sales Operations, Product Management, Finance and Field Sales to build the GTM plans for Compute services. About the team. This team includes Business Development Managers, System Architects and Program Manager to assist with the programs and initiatives that drive adoption of Compute Services like EC 2, Graviton, EC 2 Mac and Lightsail. Basic Qualifications- 5 years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience- 5 years of solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry experience- 5 years of solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries experience- 5 years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience- 5 years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ ML, Gen. AI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences. Preferred Qualifications- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
