As a Security Officer Admission Desk in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Our Access Control Officers at a busy manufacturing and industrial location help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site access procedures while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This role blends visible presence, routine patrols, and technology use to help reduce security-related incidents. Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting access control activities at the location. Monitor entrances, exits, badges, and/or visitor logs to help manage authorized access to the facility and restricted areas in a manufacturing and industrial environment. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, warehouse, production areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns. Document daily activities, access events, and/or incident details in required reports, and follow Allied Universal and site policies for escalations and post orders. Minimum Requirements:Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
