Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM - Tue 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM - Fri 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM - Sat 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM - Sun 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership according to established procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, amenities areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, guest-facing areas, and high-traffic locations to help to deter unauthorized entry, assist with directions, and/or support a professional atmosphere. Document incidents, disturbances, and policy-related concerns in a clear and timely manner, and communicate relevant updates with Allied Universal leadership and/or location contacts. Minimum Requirements:Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
