Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM - Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy violations in required logs and reports. Support site personnel during alarms, evacuations, and/or restricted area issues by communicating clearly with supervisors, first responders, and designated contacts. Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
