The Learning and Development Director provides strategic leadership for learning and talent development programs within the Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGTD) business. Your role:This role sets the learning and development vision and multi-year roadmap, partners with senior leaders to align capabilities to business strategy, and ensures scalable, measurable solutions across a global, matrixed organization. The Director leads through influence to design and govern core programs (e.g., onboarding, leadership development, mentoring, early career pipelines, rotational programs, and learning grants), leverage relevant enterprise-wide content, drive adoption of modern learning modalities (including technology and AI-enabled solutions), and establish metrics to demonstrate business impact. This role impacts the execution of our strategy as we develop our people aligned with our future plans by partnering with executive stakeholders and functional leaders across the globe, including sites in the US, Netherlands, Costa Rica. You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired 10 years of experience in learning and development, talent management, HR, or related field, including leading large, cross-functional programs in a global, matrixed environment (medical device or health technology a plus)Your skills include demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-year learning/talent portfolios across multiple functions and geographies; program/portfolio management certification a plus. You have a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field; Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, learning experience design and evaluation models; ability to translate theory into practical, business-relevant solutions.
