The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of relevant work experience, and a valid Texas driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) certification. Minimum $18.00 – Midpoint $20.54 – Maximum $23.08 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities - Provide information, directions, and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff - Patrol campus by vehicle and on foot to monitor for suspicious activity and safety hazards - Enforce institutional and parking regulations; issue permits and citations as needed - Serve as a Campus Security Authority in compliance with the Clery Act - Respond to emergencies and maintain calm, professional judgment under pressure - Support institutional policies and ensure a safe environment for all individuals on campus Requirements. EDUCATION - Required: High school diploma or equivalent. WORK EXPERIENCE - Required: One year of relevant work experience. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS - Required: Valid Class A, B or C Texas driver’s license - Preferred: International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) certification.
