How you\u 2019 ll make an impact in this role Translate the Patient Story: Review and abstract clinical information from patient records, assigning accurate ICD, CPT, or HCPCS codes to ensure seamless document retrieval and claim processing. Collaborate with Clinicians: Act as a subject matter expert by querying physicians when documentation is ambiguous, ensuring every record is clear, compliant, and reflective of the care provided. Drive Excellence: Consistently meet high-standard productivity and quality benchmarks that reflect our commitment to accuracy and ethical coding standards. Champion Compliance: Stay at the forefront of the industry by maintaining deep knowledge of coding guidelines (AHIMA), reimbursement requirements, and DRG/ APC assignments. What minimum requirements you\u 2019 ll need Education:High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
