We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in VMware, Windows Domain administration, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing physical and virtualized environments using v. Center and ensuring security best practices. Proficiency in automation using Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash for streamlining system configurations and deployments. Experience with container orchestration tools including but not limited to Kubernetes or Open shift. Role requires hands-on experience with managing Ivanti Security Controls, Trellix e. Policy Orchestrator, Splunk, and Tenable. Candidate willparticipate in operations and all project phasesincluding proposal development, design,component procurement, system integration,and system verification. Candidate will beresponsible for contributing to system design,system stand-up, and system deployment. The position will require close coordination withprogram cyber security representatives, cross-functional lab development engineering teamsand lab customers. Candidate must exhibit: excellent problem-solvingskills, be a team player, possess excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, be ableto adjust the work schedule periodically to support program activities, and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
