Global Supply Chain, Category Management, Manager What You Will Be Doing. You'll develop a global sourcing strategy for commodities and structures. Define project scope and facilitates execution, identifying savings opportunities in order to provide differentiating value. Work with Business Area, Business Unit or Enterprise-wide, cross-functional teams to analyze supply base risks & opportunities, identify new sources of supply and meet business requirements. You'll negotiate and manage contracts and relationships with suppliers to drive innovative strategies and enhance performance. Implement policies and metrics to ensure that savings goals are realized and performance requirements are achieved. Acts as the main focal point for all matters pertaining to the given category. You'll also be responsible in leading a team that contract and buy products to support multiple lines of business and for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
