Join our team as a lead-oriented Acquisition Analyst supporting enterprise-level defense acquisition efforts across multiple portfolios. This role is ideal for a motivated analyst ready to mentor others, shape acquisition strategy, and drive disciplined execution across Air Force and Space Force programs. As an acquisition analyst, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership while elevating the performance and development of fellow analysts. You'll lead the research, interpretation, and application of Defense Acquisition System and Adaptive Acquisition Framework and 5000-series, policies to support major milestone decisions and acquisition strategies. You'll provide authoritative recommendations to program teams on acquisition pathways, tailoring of documentation, and baseline development aligned with Headquarters Air Force and Space Force processes. You'll mentor and guide analysts in leveraging Middle Tier Acquisition, Software Acquisition Pathway, and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) for accelerated prototyping initiatives. You'll oversee planning and tracking of simultaneous tasks across programs and portfolios to ensure predictable, timely delivery throughout review and approval cycles. You'll support and lead cross-functional collaboration on cost, technical, operational, and programmatic artifacts, enabling integrated planning and communication across stakeholder communities. You'll communicate clearly and concisely with audiences, facilitating understanding of complex acquisition topics for senior leaders and technical teams. You Have: 5 years of experience applying Adaptive Acquisition Framework and 5000-series acquisition policies to program milestones and strategies. Experience advising acquisition teams on acquisition pathways and document tailoring Experience with Middle Tier Acquisition, Software Pathway Acquisition, and OTA for prototyping. Ability to manage multiple tasks across programs and portfolios. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree. Nice If You Have: Experience at Directorate, Center, or Headquarters levels as an action officer, program element monitor, or process contributor Experience with Power BI, MS Project, Kanban boards, or equivalent tools. Experience with AI and automation tools for research purposes Experience conducting independent program assessments approaching milestone decisions Possession of strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills APDP Program Management Level II or higher Certification.
