As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department through the nursing process of interview, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and triage. How You’ll Contribute. The Emergency Department (ED) at Canyon Vista Medical Center embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care. This 22-bed unit operates within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support. The LPN - LVN is responsible for delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department. Assists patients with: performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Under the supervision of a professional Nurse (RN). What we’re looking for:Applicants should have a current Arizona or compact state LPN license and completion of a Practical Nursing Program from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:Associate’s Degree in Nursing required. Must have an active Arizona or Compact LPN/ LVN License . to 2 years of experience preferred.
