In this role, you will manage daily financial operations across service lines, analyze interim and month-end performance, set priorities, and establish operational standards. Type of Opportunity: Full time Job Exempt: Yes Job is based: Presbyterian Hospital Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Responsibilities:As a Finance Manager, you will evaluate current strategies developed by senior leadership and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance in support of organizational goals. Some key responsibilities:Oversee financial activity and system support for Presbyterian Service Lines, ensuring strong cost and revenue controls while enabling program success. Plan, develop, and implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce operational costs, and strengthen financial performance. Lead the production of monthly and annual financial reports, audits, and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Advise Service Line Administration on budgeting, accounting policies, new procedures, and effective financial resource utilization. Collaborate with leadership to enhance training and development for Service Line teams in financial tools, systems, and reporting. Research and recommend process improvements based on policy updates, legislation, and evolving accounting standards. Support the design, development, and implementation of automated financial systems, including reviewing and approving related software, hardware, and network solutions. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. Seven years of related financial experience. Strong proficiency with PC and mainframe environments. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Lawson, COGNOS, Crystal Reports, and Premier Operations Advisor. In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, including theory and application. Strong understanding of feeder systems into the general ledger to support complex, multi-entity financial analysis.
