Maintains the interior, exterior, and general condition of Med Transport helicopters and airplanes, which areutilized for missions both locally and globally. Exterior cleaning is critical for not only long-term aircraftmaintenance and viability, but also to ensure the quality image expected of a highly visible Intermountain. Health asset. Interior cleanliness is important on many fronts, including the assurance, throughsanitization, of patient, passenger, and crewmember health, long term care and protection of interiorsurfaces. Essential Functions. Self-manages and schedules machine polishing of brightwork, paint polishes, and sealants. Cleaning of passenger/crew cabins, lavatories, cockpits, and aircraft exteriors, ensuring aircraft are mission ready. Maintains tools and consumable inventory necessary to perform cleaning assignments. Stocks aircraft with general and passenger preferred stock, including, to a limited extent, medical equipment and supplies. Assists Maintenance leads and Managers with miscellaneous tasks such as cleaning hangar area, transporting parts and equipment to various base locations, assisting mechanics with aircraft maintenance tasks, etc. Assists in maintaining hangar facility as assigned. Buffing and polishing aircraft exteriors, including windows and Metal components. Minimum Qualifications. Basic experience cleaning automobiles or other machinery. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in automotive or aviation detailing.
