In this vital role you will join as a member of the Global Partnership Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in driving the commercial expansion and advancement of our pipeline by ensuring the successful execution of the operations aspects of our external collaborations and maximizing the strategic value and health of our partnerships. You will own end-to-end partner supply management while leading cross-functional initiatives that strengthen collaboration and drive operational excellence. Ensure reliable, timely, and compliant product supply to partners in line with contractual commitments. Monitor and improve key performance metrics (e.g., OTIF, forecast accuracy) Drive effective working relationships with Partner organizations, Product Delivery Teams, Supply Chain Teams, as well as other Operations and cross-functional teams Lead cross-functional teams both within Amgen and across Partner organizations in support of critical collaboration activities such as: commercial demand and supply planning; transfer pricing; CMC variation strategy; product launches; manufacturing tech transfers; and scientific or technical data exchange Lead S&OP meeting series with partners, and coordinate with Amgen collaborators (commercial, finance, supply chain, etc.) on a strategic approach for performance management. Manage partner demand forecast submissions and coordinate with Amgen network to assess feasibility, risks, and upside/downside potential to ensure supply in alignment with contractual obligations Serve as the primary point-of-contact for one or more Operation’s alliances interfacing across functions including Legal, Quality, Alliance Management, Cost Accounting, and Tax to summarize and highlight challenges to executive management Provide functional input into licensing, supply, and quality agreements as well as financial modeling Find opportunities to increase the strategic value of partnerships and advocate for continuous improvement within the collaboration Lead or contribute to strategic projects within the team and represent Global Partnership Supply Chain team in broader organizational initiatives Contribute to the Partnership Supply functional strategy, including the implementation of standard processes for managing collaborations and implementation of specific projects to drive organizational maturity Provide Supply Chain advisement as a core member of one or more Product Delivery Teams (PD - Ts)What we expect of you. OR - Master’s degree and 2 years of supply chain experience. OR - Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of supply chain experience. ORAssociate’s degree and 8 years of supply chain experience. OR - High school diploma / GED and 10 years of supply chain experience. Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to work in diverse multi-cultural teams with sensitivity Experience managing complex external partnerships and cross-functional stakeholders Strong end-to-end supply chain expertise, ideally within biotech/pharma Familiarity with biologic and pharmaceutical product manufacturing process, lifecycle management and supply planning Project management experience with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex cross-functional timelines, identify key milestones and interdependencies, and anticipate risks Knowledge of Operational Excellence methodologies and ability to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement. Commercial and financial acumen with the ability to assess trade-offs and risks. Displays fortitude and perseverance when receiving constructive feedback Clear, concise communicator with strong stakeholder influence skills What you can expect of us. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
