The Senior Cyber & Information Security Project Manager leads complex, cross-functional cybersecurity initiatives that advance the bank’s security strategy, maturity goals, and regulatory obligations. They partner across Cybersecurity, IT, business lines, vendors, and Enterprise Risk to ensure disciplined execution, clear communication, and successful delivery of security initiatives. Senior P - Ms take on higher-impact efforts with greater regulatory scrutiny and strategic importance, while serving as a coach and collaborative PMO partner to strengthen team capabilities and support PMO operations. Duties & Responsibilities. Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional cybersecurity and technology risk projects aligned to enterprise priorities that have enterprise-wide impact, heightened regulatory scrutiny, and elevated risk posture. Partner with business and technology leaders to shape strategy, define scope and objectives, influence delivery approach, and ensure alignment across stakeholders. Facilitate and lead cross-functional working groups to remove barriers, mitigate risk, and ensure accountability. Develop project plans, schedules, RACI matrices, risk/issue logs, and status reporting. Ensure project execution follows enterprise lifecycle, cyber governance, and regulatory requirements (OCC, GLBA, NIST). Support PMO operational excellence by ensuring shared materials, templates, project documentation, and internal processes remain organized, current, and aligned to internal audit and regulatory exam expectations. Coach and mentor Cybersecurity PMO team members to strengthen delivery discipline, elevate practices, and support skill development. Lead change-management and adoption planning for cybersecurity initiatives. Manage communication between Cybersecurity, IT, business lines, and governance committees. Prepare updates for cybersecurity steering committees, senior leaders, and audit/regulators when needed. Minimum Experience 7 years project management with 5 years in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk required 10 years project management with 7 years in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk preferred. Licenses & Certifications. PMP, CSM, CAPM, CSPM, CISSP-ASSOCIATE, OR EQUIVALENT PREFERRED - Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities. Strong leadership and coaching skills, paired with deep knowledge of project management industry standards, methodologies, and best practices. Strong project management discipline and ability to lead complex initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executives, business, and technical staff. Advanced conflict resolution and negotiation skills; ability to influence without direct authority. Strong attention to detail, governance rigor, and organizational discipline. Technical expertise of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and frameworks (NIST, PCI, cloud, IAM, vulnerability mgmt). Ability to learn and grasp new concepts and business processes quickly. Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and drive resolution in complex environments. Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and project reporting tools.
