Get to Know the Opportunity: Actuarial student position is within the actuarial modeling team and will report to the Modeling Production Lead. The model production team supports business partners by running and analyzing actuarial cashflow projections for regulatory, risk and internal business metrics. The position has the potential to collaborate with actuarial model development projects including modification/enhancement/testing of financial modeling and projection software. The Contributions You’ll Make: Input review/preparation/analysis and model run execution. Develop, enhance, and modify current tools using VBA code. Lead modeling projects related to changes in regulations or company initiatives. Analyze model results for reasonableness, key drivers, and interaction of assets and liabilities. Minimum Knowledge & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a directly related field. ASA with 4 or more years of experience with focus on annuities and group life products. Knowledge of reserves, assets, liabilities, & financial statements. Highly analytical, strong oral and written communication skills, detail oriented with an ability to solve complex business problems; capable of effectively communicating with all audiences. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Demonstrates high ethical standards and personal integrity. Strong knowledge of Excel, VBA is required. Preferred Knowledge & Experience:Experience with actuarial model platforms such as Risk Agility or Prophet is preferred.#LI-LH 1 Compensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. 120,000-$135,000
