The Upward Bound Math-Science Program is currently seeking a Temporary Residential Summer Counselor to join their team of professionals. Duties include:Assist program participants in grades 8-12 developing the skills necessary to ensure high school graduation and future college success. Assist in the instruction and supervision of young children in recreational activities, sports/athletics, arts & crafts, music, and special events during our 4-week summer program. Be flexible and able to work well with others while maintaining open and effective communication. Be patient, energetic, fun loving and hardworking. Minimum Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, Social Work, or related field and experience working with children and teenagers OR equivalent education and/or experience. Desired Qualifications 30 College Credits (Minimum)High-School Diploma. Majoring in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field. Experience working with teenagers. Job Category. Temporary.
