Our comprehensive, paid training program is a full six weeks. You will be trained on all necessary functions of the position and must pass a competency check to successfully complete training. This position is located at our Irving Envoy headquarters, in the System Operations Control center (SOC), while we assist our operations all over the country. The Crew Scheduler duties include, but are not limited to:Ensure that all Envoy flights are properly staffed with Pilots and Flight Attendants while abiding by the contractual agreements and legalities. Responsible for fixing schedule disruptions and rerouting crews as needed. Track and monitor FAR legality compliance happening in real time. Provide exceptional customer service and support to our internal customers and crew, through inbound and outbound phone calls. Facilitate crew hotels and transportation through hotel vendor. Work as an integral part of a team, while also working independently with little supervision. Constant problem solving, prioritizing, and multitasking to make the best decisions for the airline and passengers, striving for on time departures. Communicate with other departments as needed to coordinate operational needs Qualifications Who are we looking for? Requirements. Minimum Age: 18 High school diploma or GED equivalent. Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver's license or passport; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role. Must be able to work all shifts including nights, holidays, weekends. Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary. Must be punctual and strive for perfect attendance. Proficient in computer typing. Must possess the legal right to work in the United States. Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language. Previous customer service experience. Proficient with computers and technology. Ability to memorize computer entry codes, city codes, understand the 24-hour clock and must be able to read and comprehend both the Pilot and Flight Attendant labor agreement. Must learn, understand, and abide by Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and exercise sound judgment in making operational decisions Ability to show initiative and critical thinking skills are necessary
