The Project Manager – New Markets Product leads the execution of key initiatives supporting the development and launch of innovative products across New Markets, including Defined Contribution, Stable Value, International Retirement, and Registered Investment Advisors. This role partners across Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, Risk, and Actuarial to deliver projects efficiently and transparently. Success in this role requires strong coordination with IT partners, disciplined project governance, and the ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders. Accountabilities:Lead end-to-end project delivery across product and cross-functional initiatives—from planning through execution and implementation. Partner with Actuarial, Finance, IT, Operations, Sales, and Risk to align project objectives with strategic business priorities. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables; proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies. Drive clear and consistent stakeholder communication, including progress reporting, documentation, and accountability tracking. Support implementation of new systems, process improvements, and data management initiatives in partnership with ITEstablish and facilitate New Markets governance forums, including preparing materials, tracking progress, and escalating key issues to leadership. Coordinate regulatory, audit, and compliance-related deliverables in alignment with internal governance standards. Monitor project resources and budgets in collaboration with functional leaders. Champion continuous improvement by enhancing processes, tools, and team collaboration. Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Experience: 5 years of project management, actuarial, or financial experience, preferably within insurance or financial services. Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and delivering projects on time and within scope; PMP or similar certification preferred. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical concepts into business insights.
