The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are shipped on time. The Fulfillment Supervisor’s responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision, safety management, developing standards, managing processes, surveillance skills, inventory control, reporting skills, analyzing information, and equipment maintenance. Ensure adherence to food safety policies, practices, and standards (e.g. GMP, HAACP, etc) across the warehouse and documenting and escalating food safety concerns to the food safety team for action; in addition to ensuring compliance with local, state, and national food safety regulations, including Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) or other applicable standards. This role reports to the Sr. Operations Manager In the case of an absence, the Sr Operations Manager will serve as the back up. What you'll do: Define, communicate and manage performance standards for all Picking and Packing Associates to ensure maximum efficiency through coaching/developmental conversations Directly manage team of leads to ensure all orders are processed on time without exceptions Collaborate on hiring, separation, and promotion decisions Train new hires using company established training procedures Maintain steady, efficient workflow throughout the Picking and Packing area Perform general problem solving and troubleshooting Ensure Pickers and Packers meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals and metrics Maintain organization and practice good housekeeping throughout the department Communicate daily with associates about events/promos and issues Responsible for the team's adherence to food safety policies and escalation of food safety concerns to the FS Manager Implement corrective actions related to food safety as they arise. Enforce standardized picking and packing rules and procedures Ensure all company safety, handbook, and department policies are followed Responsible for the team's adherence to food safety policies and escalation of food safety concerns to the FS Manager What you’ll bring: 1 - 4 years of experience managing people Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards Experience in HACCP, allergen control, GMP, and sanitation Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills Familiarity with computer systems including Google Suite Ability to work a Sunday - Wednesday schedule during operating hours Bilingual - Spanish is a plus!
