The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Administrative Analyst III within Community and Neighborhood Programs. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year. Performs administrative support work including business planning, budget, and fiscal analysis; identifies, evaluates, and resolves organizational and administrative problems; performs special studies and research involving considerable discretion in determining work methods and resources and require a thorough level of knowledge of more than one specified knowledge area; and performs related work as required. Please Note: This is a grant funded position. This position is currently funded through an entitlement grant and continuation of this position is subject to ongoing grant funding. Upon the expiration of grant funds, employees taking this position will have rights as outlined in the “reduction in force” language in the applicable contract or civil service rules. SALARY AND BENEFITS: The salary range for this position is $73,478.75 to $112,038.75 annually. Salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, business administration, economics, or a related field Four (4) years of experience performing administrative support duties for an agency or organization that included performing budget and fiscal analysis; participating in developing programs, policies, and procedures; performing research; and preparing analytical reports Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered Some positions may require that you possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license, as defined by NRS 483 Desirable: Experience performing administrative support duties for a municipal government Desirable: Master's Degree in a related field
