Animal Care & Safety: Ensure proper feeding, watering, exercise, and care for animals, including identifying medical or behavioral issues. - Facility Sanitation: Maintain strict cleaning and disinfection protocols for kennels, cages, and play areas to maintain a sanitary environment. - Staff Management: Hire, train, supervise, and schedule kennel staff, ensuring they adhere to safety policies and high-quality care standards. - Customer Service: Address client inquiries, manage reservations, and resolve complaints regarding pet care. - Operations Oversight: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and food, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. - Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work with customers and lead a team. Typical Qualifications - High school diploma or GED is generally required. - Degree in animal science or related field is often preferred. - Reliability, patience, and compassion for animals.
