POSITION CLOSES 5/5/2026 This position provides support to Animal Services by performing general office work. The employee will have the responsibility of: ? Greeting patrons and vendors, instructing them on visitor rules, shelter policies and programs, as well as local animal welfare information ? Answering phone calls, checking voicemails, emails, and returning calls and emails ? Monitoring telephone and operating multi-channel public safety radio system ? Performing customer service duties related to intake, processing, documentation of animals, taking photographs for shelter records, adoption listings, and official social media or promotional platforms ? Preparing and processing materials/forms and payments using shelter software ? Assisting customers with adoption process ? Reviewing reports, forms, transactions, and records for accuracy and completeness ? Assisting with lost and found pet reports and reunification efforts ? Cleaning and sanitizing the front office area and ensuring the area is neat ? Completing miscellaneous tasks such as receiving deliveries, loading and unloading trucks, accepting and organizing donations, and organizing supplies for shelter ? Occasionally attending events which are off site and after hours ? Assisting Animal Care Specialists by cleaning and sanitizing kennels, cages, and other critical areas in and around facility ?
