As a member of the Ally Supply Chain (ASC) Sourcing organization, this position will have primary responsibility for leading sourcing and contracting initiatives across our Enterprise Functions, specifically focused on supporting our Human Resources line of business. Responsible for partnering with stakeholders to establish integrated sourcing teams, define business requirements, perform market analyses, review risk assessments, formulate sourcing strategies, and execute objective, fact-based sourcing initiatives to optimize total cost of ownership. This position will also ensure complete, accurate and proactive management of all contract inventories, P 2 P system/project updates, data quality metrics, service levels, supplier risk assessments, and sourcing events. At this time, Ally will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The Work Itself Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring all supplier agreements align with company legal standards, including review and negotiation of contractual terms and conditions (T&Cs). Draft, evaluate, and negotiate commercial contract language (e.g., pricing, payment terms, delivery/ Incoterms, warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and termination clauses) in partnership with Legal and key stakeholders. Responsible for procurement activities in direct support of Enterprise Function Lines of business. Identify and collaborate with a variety of internal colleagues and workgroups critical to implementing sourcing initiatives, negotiating contracts, leading third-party relationships and onboarding/offboarding supplier partners. Support business lines in the end-to-end management of supplier relationships, including managing expiring contracts and negotiating renewals. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners. Lead multiple, low to medium complexity projects as an individual contributor. Lead/facilitate effective fact-based negotiation strategies to enhance contract benefits and mitigate risk. Work with business units to improve compliance and optimize spend against established contracts and supplier programs. Support the business line in managing relationships with suppliers and support constructive handling or resolution of issues and disputes. Support and enable supplier risk management activities. Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities. Create an environment that encourages innovation, integrity and teamwork The Skills You Bring Minimum Qualifications 3 years of experience. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Qualifications. Highly preferred: 3 years of sourcing, negotiation, and other relevant procurement experience with demonstrated experience leading end-to-end sourcing and procurement cycles, including supplier selection, award, and agreement finalization in alignment with corporate legal standards and contractual terms and conditions (T&Cs)Highly preferred: Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate commercial contract terms (pricing, payment, delivery/ Incoterms, warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, termination) in close partnership with Legal and cross-functional stakeholders. Highly preferred: Experience leading sourcing projects, running or supporting competitive sourcing events, facilitating vendor pitches, and negotiating third-party supply contracts with best-in-class results. Highly preferred: Demonstrated proficiency in understanding business needs, performing business and industry analysis, financial analysis, supplier selection and management, contract negotiations, conflict management, decision making, and critical thinking. Bachelor’s degree. Previous experience working in a procurement role in financial services. Analytical ability with relevant experience developing, analyzing and presenting cost models, business cases, and strategic plans using Excel and PowerPoint. Strong cross-functional relationship builder with excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience supporting multiple stakeholders, prioritizing competing workstreams, and coordinating with teams to meet deadlines.
