Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties: - Serves as the agency’s front line support by assisting the public in person, by phone, and via email with questions related to Medicaid policies, program requirements, case status, and application or renewal processes. - Processes statewide correspondence in a timely and accurate manner by receiving, sorting, stamping, scanning, filing, and disposing of postal mail, electronic mail, and faxes in accordance with policy and procedures. - Updates La. MEDS case records by entering case status changes and detailed case notes, and performs related actions such as mailing requested documents, initiating case closures, and uploading and indexing documents in EDMS. - Assists members with completing self-service portal change reports in La. MEDS, including updates to personal information, household composition, income, expenses, and requests for case actions or replacement Medicaid cards. - Performs clerical and data entry functions in La. MEDS, including assigning and reassigning tasks to Medicaid analysts to support efficient workflow and case processing. - Supports customer service and outreach efforts by assisting with high call volumes, participating in outbound calling initiatives, and attending community events to provide program information and resources. - Performs administrative and operational support functions, including maintaining equipment and property records, managing office supply inventory, supporting safety activities, and operating office equipment to ensure efficient daily operations.
