Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Analyst to join a specialized Digital Transformation team for a major rail transportation client in Washington, DC. This pivotal role focuses on the modernization of Amtrak's real estate and Right-of-Way (ROW) records by converting complex legal documents, as-built drawings, and historical agreements into high-accuracy enterprise GIS datasets. You will serve as a technical subject matter expert,[ "Data Conversion & Digitization: Georeference and digitize real estate agreements, deeds, and supporting engineering documents into the enterprise GIS environment. Legal & Technical Interpretation: Analyze complex legal descriptions, land surveys, and as-built drawings to accurately map spatial boundaries and property rights. Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous spatial validation, attribute reviews, and quality control checks to maintain data consistency and precision. Stakeholder Collaboration: Research and resolve spatial discrepancies by coordinating with internal real estate, legal, and engineering departments. Documentation: Create comprehensive metadata and maintain digital linkages between GIS features and their original source records for auditability.
