As a Security Officer - Full Time Retail Patrol Driver in La Jolla, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.42 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, documenting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior. Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by communicating with property management, assisting with directions and visitor inquiries, and reporting hazards or disruptions. Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
