Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.71 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM - Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including loading areas, docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter points, with attention to access control and unusual activity. Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery traffic, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions to daily operations. Support logistics and distribution operations by observing freight movement areas, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and communicating clearly with site leadership and/or emergency responders when needed. Minimum Requirements:Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
