Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes through enhancements to PLC automation, deployment of robotics, development of digital tools, and evaluation of emerging technologies. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and ongoing operation of automation and robotic systems. Ensure all automation and robotics equipment complies with applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements. Participate in formal risk management activities, including Risk Assessments, HAZOPs, Hazard Hunts, and Critical Operating Parameter reviews. Identify improvement opportunities by analyzing operational performance and developing scopes of work for projects. Participate in incident investigations and support implementation of corrective actions. Provide operations support for changes, repairs, and modifications to the manufacturing facility. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including engineering, operations, maintenance, and regulatory—to expand and scale manufacturing capacity. About you B. S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related degree with significant automation, controls, and/or digital experience Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria (ISA, NEC, IEEE Standards, etc.) Strong analytic and communication skills Experience managing third-party engineering firms Vendor technical qualification support activities Significant experience providing process improvements through automation applications and hardware Preferred Qualifications/ Experience Leadership roles in operational or technical organizations with focus on automation, robotics, digital capabilities or reliability Programmable Logic Controller debugging and programming leveraging advanced features. Familiar with analytics and visualization software applications such as Ignition, SEEQ and Power BI, including development of dashboards for operations troubleshooting and support
