Stantec's Energy practice has an opportunity for highly motivated Engineering Student Interns to join our team in Southern California to work on power delivery projects. Your Key Responsibilities - Provide engineering support for a variety of design projects, coordination with other engineering disciplines and CAD designers. - Responsibilities will include drawing production (CAD drafting, sketches, etc.), review of design calculations and report preparation, product research and outreach, occasional site visits, and various project-related tasks. Your Capabilities and Credentials - Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Self-motivated - Basic understanding of CAD drafting software (i.e., AutoCAD, Civil 3 D, Inventor, and/or Revit), and MS Office software Education and Experience - Enrollment in an accredited Engineering program - At least one year of college education and are within approximately three years of graduation - At least a 3.0 GPA is preferred Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
