The Investment Strategy & Competitive Intelligence Consultant is responsible for shaping how our business understands, interprets, and communicates its position in the market. This individual translates business performance, competitive dynamics, and market intelligence into executive-ready insights that strengthen investor-facing messaging. Outside of quarterly earnings cycles, this role also serves as the competitive intelligence and market insights lead for Neuromodulation, supporting broader marketing and strategic planning efforts. For someone growth-oriented, this role offers unique exposure to executive decision-making, market dynamics, capital markets, and portfolio strategy, all within a high-visibility operating unit. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Translate business performance into strategic insight. Own competitive intelligence across the portfolio. Interpret equity research and competitor earnings. Direct exposure to senior leadership. Influence on competitive positioning. Must Have: Minimum Requirements. Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Nice to Have. Experience analyzing earnings calls and financial statements. Background in medical device or healthcare preferred. Strong executive communication skills. MBA or equivalent. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C. F. R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required. Physical Job Requirements.
