Hours Per Week:40 Schedule Details/ Additional Information:3, 12-hour night shifts per week. Holiday/ Weekend rotation. Pay Range$37.50 - $56.25 Where You Will Work: NSICU 9 L- The NSICU provides comprehensive patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. NSICU is a 29-bed unit with all private rooms, three negative pressure rooms and two fully equipped nursing stations with central monitoring available on either side. Common diagnoses for these patients include but are not limited to: subarachnoid hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, epidural hematoma, spinal cord injuries, Code Stroke, head trauma, intracranial hemorrhages, brain tumors, continuous EEG and carotid endarterectomies. The nurses are specialized in utilizing the NIHSS, monitoring and manipulating external ventricular devise, subdural drains, and IRRAS. We have a 1:2 ratio and have an AACN Beacon of Excellence Silver Designation. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. What You’ll Do: - As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. - Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
