Oversee demolition, decontamination, and decommissioning (DDD) projects at major oil & gas, industrial, and power plant sites. Ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of field operations. Serve as the critical link between field teams, subcontractors, and project managers, guaranteeing quality and compliance. Influence client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives that expand ERM’s impact. What You’ll Bring. Required. BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field OR equivalent experience (2 years’ experience = 1 year education).4 years experience in environmental engineering and construction management consulting. Proven experience managing demolition and environmental construction sites, including work plans, field oversight, and reporting. OSHA 30-hour construction safety and OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (or ability to obtain post-hire). Strong cost estimation and project tracking skills; familiarity with cost estimating tools. Exceptional communication, organizational, and client service skills. Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate field personnel effectively. Willingness to travel up to 75% during project oversight. Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Preferred 8-15 years experience preferred in environmental engineering and construction management consulting. Advanced knowledge of remedial systems, land disposal facilities, and environmental construction best practices. Experience serving as a Field Safety Officer and implementing site-specific Health & Safety Plans. Background in proposal development and client-facing business development activities. Key Responsibilities. Plan and execute field remediation and DDD projects, including design reviews, cost opinions, and pre-construction conferences. Supervise field staff, manage subcontractors, and ensure adherence to schedules and safety protocols. Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and change orders for compliance with project specifications. Conduct health and safety audits, daily safety briefings, and maintain site safety records. Coordinate resolution of inspection and contract administration issues. Serve as liaison between field activities and in-house project managers, ensuring clarity and complianceSupport client meetings and assist in proposal preparation and contracting. For the Managing Consultant, Demolition & Environmental Field Manager position, the anticipated annual base pay is $103,967 –$132,573 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible). We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D insurance, 401(k) or RRSP/ DPSP, and other applicable benefits to eligible employees.
