Performs phlebotomy duties. Assists with receiving, identifying, accessioning, processing and transporting specimens. Maintains adequate stock of supplies. Maintains work area in a safe, aseptic and organized manner. Performs clerical duties including answering phones, data entry, and filing. Additional requirements include:Prior phlebotomy training and minimum of one (1) year phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy Certification preferred. Completes on-the-job (OTJ) training for CLA duties. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
