Heavy Duty Auto Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$22.00 to $23.00 /hour. Full Time work available. Weekend work required. Various shifts available (Monday through Saturday from 07:00 am to 05:30 pm)Inspect, diagnose, repair, and test vehicles and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, alignments, filter replacements, hydraulic systems, and fluid exchanges. Service light trucks, heavy duty trucks, semi tractors, material spreaders, 6 wheelers, excavators, skidders, and other heavy equipment. Complete inspections and communicate repair needs clearly. Follow all safety procedures, training requirements, and company policies. Maintain shop equipment and a clean work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Heavy Duty Auto Technician Qualifications:Experience inspecting, repairing, and testing vehicles or heavy equipment. Required certifications include ASE A 1, A 4, A 5, A 6, A 7, and 609 AC - Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Customer service skills and ability to work in a fast paced shop environment. Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting, standing, and walking throughout the shift. Valid driver's license required. Applicant may be subject to a background check. Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report. Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment - A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed. You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire.
