Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It With Pride. The electrician plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of electrical systems with the bakery. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and systems, which are vital for production processes. The electrician will troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of machinery. Additionally, they will adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, the success of this role contributes to the overall productivity and reliability of bakery’s operations. Job Duties:Install and maintain wiring, panels, motors, and control systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, replacing faulty components as needed. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain AC Motors, 480 V MCC, PLCs, VF - Ds, and HM - Is. Maintain accurate maintenance records using SAP, and ensure compliance with NFPA 70 B and 70 E, OSHA, and industry standards. Follow all safety protocols and coach team members in safe electrical practices. Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED - Manufacturing experience. Industrial Maintenance experience. Ability to work well in a team-based environment with limited supervision. Ability to problem solve and help with practical solutions. English (required)Able to learn and apply Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Experience with high speed packaging lines and production equipment in food processing, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries. TPM and SAP knowledge. Install and maintain motors, motor control circuits, VFD drives, and 480 v-power distribution. At least 2-4 years manufacturing experience as a hands-on Electrician or successful completion of an approved Apprenticeship Program. Schedule:Schedule flexibility required / Able to work any shift and able to work overtime / planned and unplanned scheduled outages. Union Role#ushourly. Salary and Benefits:The hourly wage for this position is $25.96/hour. The position offers healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements.
