Provide support, direction and guidance to processes ensuring internal and external demands are met. Lead and develop a team, coach, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance and disciplinary actions while working in partnership with HR. Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and customer satisfaction opportunities for the area or department. Evaluate and manage equipment, systems, and facility to improve efficiencies and workflow. Develop plans for resource utilization. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Identifies discrepancies as they arise, uses problem solving abilities to investigate deviations and complaints. Manage KPIs, payroll accuracy, and performance appraisals. Prioritizes work assignments and handles multiple tasks to ensure all distribution assigned tasks are completed as scheduled. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the overall needs of the team and company. Qualifications: HS diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred At least 1-3 years distribution supervision experience. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience with the implementation of lean distribution including 5 S and facilitating Kaizan events. Ability to manage projects outside of the realm of normal duties. Strong work ethic and reliability. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to follow directions and work in a team. Skills: Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment with competing priorities. Critical Thinker, who seeks out areas of opportunity and finds solutions to problems. Effective interpersonal & communication skills (written, verbal and in person) Servant Leadership, can coach, mentor, and develop teams to achieve both professional and business goals. Excellent MS Office software skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word. Power. Bi experience a plus. Experience navigating cloud-based programs such as SharePoint a plus. Strong Organizational skills with ability to manage day-to-day operation of distribution personnel to ensure accurate and on time order fulfillment. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Standing and walking approximately 90 (ninety) percent of work time. Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice. Willingness to work all/any shifts. Typical plant/manufacturing environment with concrete floors and moving equipment.
