Natural Gas Engineer - Transmission and Facilities

Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering design efforts, working closely with Civil/ Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, and other disciplines. Provide technical leadership for Natural Gas pipeline and facility engineering. Design of pipeline facilities such as metering/regulating stations and compressor stations. Development of PF - Ds, P&IDs, plans, sections, details, and associated bills of materials. Perform engineering calculations to support technical studies, reports, and design decisions. Coordinate supporting activities including surveying, geotechnical investigations, permitting, and land acquisition. Prepare material and equipment specifications to support procurement and factory acceptance testing. Lead proposal development and scope definition, including conceptual designs, execution plans, cost estimates, and schedules. Experience in the design of electric transmission lines and/or distribution systems. Salary Range: $110,000 - $165,000 Qualifications 6 years of relevant engineering design experience. Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineering (P. E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months) Preferred. Proficiency with 49 CFR Part 192 and ASME B 31.8 Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks. Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3 D - CAD - Worx Preferred
