The Prin Business Functional Consultant serves as a strategic business partner within Business Value & Strategy tower to drive enterprise level transformation outcomes. The role provides deep subject matter expertise, operational insights, and high impact process recommendations to support business readiness and the successful delivery of transformational or major project initiatives. Focused on non-technical domains, the role bridges current state operations with future state capabilities by representing functional needs, identifying gaps, and enabling sustainable change through collaboration, communication and stakeholder engagement. The Principal Business Functional Consultant influences senior leaders, guides cross-functional teams and ensures customer centric outcomes are prioritized and operationalized effectively. Essential Responsibilities:Serve as a strategic advisor for business functional teams by providing deep subject matter expertise, operational insights and high impact process recommendations across business functions. Develop and lead the Customer Strategy Forum for alignment among multiple stakeholders and vendor partners. Align Customer Core initiatives with business prioritization rubric. Sequence initiatives of competing priorities to ensure business value realization. Establish ongoing, operational business prioritization process owned by the business and executed by technology team. Identify, assess and communicate broad operational impacts of proposed changes, proactively addressing enterprise level risks and misalignments. Guide business functional testing strategy, inform training and change design and ensure user adoption approaches enable sustainable transformation. Partner with cross functional leaders to ensure end-to-end business process integration and customer centric operational continuity. Champion enterprise continuous improvement by elevating systemic pain points and shaping long-term design decisions. Lead development of enterprise performance metrics, reporting frameworks and post implementation value realization measures. Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or equivalent combination of training and relevant experience. Strong understanding of utility processes and performance drivers. Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills . years in operations, business process improvement or service delivery. Preferred Requirements:Demonstrated ability and experience to influence senior leaders and guide cross-functional teams to ensure customer centric outcomes are prioritized and operationalized effectively. Master's Degree in Technology, Business, Innovation or related to Corporate and/or Customer Organizational Leadership and Behaviors. Additional Information:Hybrid in-office requirements - Tues, Wed, Thurs. Moderate travel required.
