The School of Social Work seeks applications throughout the year from individuals who are interested in obtaining temporary teaching positions within the School. Description of Work Unit. Throughout its history, the School of Social Work at Colorado State University has made a continuous effort to develop and maintain a program that is responsive to three distinct, but related, interests:The profession of social work as represented by the Council on Social Work Education’s Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards;The human services agencies and clients in the state, the region, the nation, and the globe; and. Teaching and Advising - Advise students, oversee practicums and internships, and teach in the School of Social Work programs. Mentorship - Model teaching excellence in courses for SOWK by fully supporting the philosophy and culture of School of Social Work. Conditions of Employment. The position reports to the Director of the School of Social Work. Minimum Qualifications. For an instructor-level appointment, a masters degree in an appropriate discipline is required.
