In this finance role, as a Commercial Sales Manager you will work on interesting and challenging opportunities in a highly motivated, cross functional team. You will be managing all commercial and financial aspects throughout the whole sales and bid process and be responsible to produce complex bids from a commercial point of view for our Substation projects. A flawless collaboration between the Commercial Sales Manger, Tender Manager, and the Sales Manager is key for the overall success. How You’ll Make an Impact. Review customer requirements and take the lead on all commercial aspects such as bid specific terms and conditions, tax and currency concepts, import duties, credit risk management, financial securities (letters of credit/bank guarantees), terms of payments, cashflow analysis, and insurances, all the way to bid submission and post bid follow ups. Partner with technical sales and tender manager to develop winning strategy. - Ensure adherence to all relevant internal rules & guidelines including Limits of Authority (Lo. A), New Collaboration Model (NCM), FRG, tax, trade finance or currency guidelines. Support to define optimal business model and contract structure (i.e. ZRG, NCM). Support during contract negotiations (i.e. projects terms & conditions). Build strong relationships with internal & external functions, e.g. management, finance, legal, insurance, taxes & customers. - In cooperation with the proposal team ensure the accuracy of the cost and review pricing calculation. Assure bid and contract award are in compliance with accounting standards (i.e. IFRS) to secure order intake and revenue recognition. What You Bring - BS/ BA degree or in higher finance, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience required . years of experience working in commercial sales or commercial project management role. Experience within contract negotiations, commercial project management and financial project controlling, or cost estimations. Strong writing, presentation & meeting facilitation skills. Excellent communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express information & requirements through writing, speaking and presentations. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Resilience and positive attitude when working under pressure, due to multiple bid assignments with varying degree of complexity and deadlines. Worked in international projects and with intercultural and cross functional teams. - Required amount of travel around 10%-15%.
