Of the Job Provide internal and external support for Domestic Law Enforcement Sales Managers and Order Management team. Liaise between LE Sales Team and all departments to accomplish sales and service objectives. Review &/or draft Product Quality Reports (PQR’s), document in a tracker, filed, and noted on a PPT presentation for the monthly Quality Council Meeting. Submit the PQR’s to Quality Management which starts up discussions, fact finding, and the call back parts and firearms from the field for root cause analysis. Chair the monthly Quality Council Meeting. Liege with Customer Support Team for submission of warranty orders and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA’s) Review, approve, forward, document, and follow-up for Free Goods Forms and related processes for warranty parts submitted by LE Sales Managers. Support efforts to compete for domestic LE Request for Products (RFP’s), or “domestic tenders” Create parts lists, recommended inventory parts lists, suggested Preventive Maintenance parts lists with service intervals, and LE Product Preventive Maintenance Service Kits. Travel to meet and present to potential customers, resolve customer complaints and service product in the field, and to organize, coordinate and execute armorer training as required when awarded LE contracts. Provide technical product information to LE Sales Mgrs. as needed. Provide product orientation, training, armorer training, instructor development training, SAP and SOP training. Provide production quality inspections and audits prior to shipment. Guide plant tours, meet with customers and vendors internally to ensure both pre and post-sale support. Advise S&W Armorer Training Programs Develop and Manage Curriculum Revise Armorers Manuals Write course descriptions, outlines, presentations, and exams Advise Operations of S&W’s 3rd Party Armorer Trainer; Team One Network Draft and revise legal agreement for third party armorer training. Train the Trainers, and certify as S&W Instructors. Host Team One instructors at Plant for two days of hands on, and classroom instructor development. Lead Team One Firearm Inventory, classroom/student giveaways inventory, tool inventory, parts inventory. Attend Team One Annual Instructor Conference to present S&W developments in training and products. Review Team One social media S&W materials and coordinate with Marketing dept. New Product Development (NPD) for GP&IS Chair bi-weekly “Pink Sheet” meeting to present, coordinate, and discuss progress of new product developments for LE and International customers.
