Esse Health is currently seeking a Lead Training Specialist to be based out of our beautiful Central Office/ HUB located in Town & Country. Opportunity: The Lead Training Specialist will manage centralized training materials for the organization, track training completion, and lead a train-the-trainer program to address office-specific needs. This role ensures that all staff, clinical and non-clinical, receive consistent, compliant, and high-quality training aligned with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and patient care standards. Full-time schedule. Monday - Friday, regular business hours. No nights, weekends or holidays. Eligible for the Esse Health full-time benefits package. Reports to the VP of Human Resources. Position will be housed out of our HUB/ Central office located at 555 Maryville University Drive. Travel to all Esse Health locations (greater St. Louis area, Shiloh, IL and Swansea, IL) will be required. Day-to-Day: Develop and maintain centralized training materials for the organization, ensuring materials are regularly reviewed and updated, and accessible to all departments and locations. Conduct training needs assessments with office leadership and clinical teams and customize training modules based on these results. Schedule and facilitate virtual or in-person training sessions for new employees and ongoing education for existing staff. Implement and manage systems (e.g., LMS or internal dashboards) to monitor training completion for onboarding, annual competencies, and role-specific education. Manage onboarding sessions for new office-level trainers. Design and deliver a structured curriculum to equip them with the tools and knowledge to deliver effective training. Provide continuing feedback and coaching to trainers on delivery technique and content accuracy. Participate in cross-functional meetings with other Esse departments, to identify additional training opportunities or ways to improve training effectiveness. Stay current on healthcare regulations and best practices to keep trainings updated, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Human Resources. What you possess: Bachelor's degree in healthcare education, Human Resources, or public-health related field (preferred). ADDIE learning model Certification (preferred). 5 years' experience administering and managing a companywide LMS system and programs. Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles, curriculum design, training delivery, and evaluation methodologies. Experience in a Leadership role (preferred). Effective coaching and leadership development capabilities. Proven ability to build partnerships and facilitate presentations and training. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital content development tools. Reliable transportation, clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently. What We Offer: Competitive compensation.
