Responsible for shipping, receiving, salvage, storage, selection and distribution of material in an assigned area. Required to maintain inventory accuracy in a given area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for shipping, receiving, salvage, storage, selection and distribution of material in an assigned area. Responsible for inventory accuracy of assigned section. Responsible for accurate paperwork, as required. Responsible for data input and/or general warehouse assistance. Detect and report faulty operations, materials and working conditions to supervisor. Use safety equipment as instructed. Follow safety regulations and company policies. Maintain work area, equipment and tools in clean orderly condition. Promote 5 S concept of order and housekeeping. Perform other duties and cross-train as required or assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Above average math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Requires the ability to operator forklift and material handling equipment. Knowledge of company procedures for storage, handling and shipment of hazardous waste to comply with government regulations. Training will be included upon assignment to such duties. Basic computer skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical fitness to perform all functions of designated work areas. This includes small tool use, full arm and leg range of motion, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, work in awkward positions, talking and hearing. Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35#, frequently lift and/or move up to 50#. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
