Provides day-to-day supervision of radiologic technologists, support staff, and imaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Coordinates daily workflow and staffing assignments, balancing patient volumes, technologist availability, and room utilization. Serves as a clinical resource to technologists, students, and other staff, offering guidance on protocols, positioning, image quality, and regulatory compliance. Monitors and supports compliance with departmental policies, radiation safety guidelines, ALARA principles, and regulatory/accreditation standards. Assists with onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing competency assessment of technologists and new hires. Supports leadership in performance management through the talent care process, performance reviews, and providing coaching opportunities for team member development. Collaborates with radiologists, leadership, and other departments to facilitate timely and coordinated imaging services. Participates in quality improvement initiatives, including image quality audits, repeat analysis, and process improvement projects. Ensures proper equipment functionality and coordinates preventative maintenance. Participates in scheduling, timekeeping, and supply inventory management to support operational efficiency and budget goals. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various and diverse backgrounds [Required] Knowledge of CT procedures [Required] Knowledge of CT scanners [Required] Customer Service skills [Required] Computer skills to include Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook [Required] Fluent in the English language [Required] Experience/knowledge of computers/networking [Required] Up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, isolation techniques, and sterile procedures [Required] Demonstrates skills in listening, empathizing, and responds to patient, family, internal/external partner needs [Required] Ability to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care, or services delivered [Required] Ability to collaborate and coordinate with other health care professionals in the management and implementation of care within and across care settings and communities [Required] Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required] Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required] Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required] Ability to perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision of technical details [Required] Knowledge of communication styles and constant deployment of proper engagement behaviors when encountering patients, staff, and physicians [Required] Basic IV skills [Preferred] A background in general physics and cross-sectional anatomy [Preferred] Education: Associate [Preferred] High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Field of Study: N/ A Work Experience: 1 years leadership experience [Preferred] 5 years experience [Preferred] Additional Information: Additional Licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located.
