The E-Commerce Clerk's role involves selecting and assembling products for customers' online orders, prioritizing freshness, and quality. They process payments and meticulously prepare orders for pickup. The position facilitates final handoff of prepared orders to the end customer. Their primary objective is to deliver an efficient and positive customer service experience, fostering customer loyalty to online shopping. Responsibilities Description Process orders through the POS system Effectively communicate with leadership regarding fulfillment challenges Communicates any substitutions or exceptions to customer's order Adhere to customer order promise times to meet demand Follow instructions diligently to fulfill orders accurately Handoff orders to end customer or stage for customer retrieval according to program needs, i.e. in-store pickup, curbside, or staging in a kiosk/locker Meet productivity metrics and other fulfilment goals Maintain a clean work area, orderly, and free from safety hazards Stock supplies as needed. Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to Store Management Uphold customer satisfaction by providing a seamless shopping experience with a variety of fresh and clean products Follow all safety protocols, operating procedures, and standards for product freshness and quality, including food safety guidelines for handling, displaying, and storing food items Follow all established protocols and requirements for handoff of regulated products Perform other duties as assigned Hiring pay range: $16.90 - 20.30 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
