Validates, enters, reconciles, and audits routine financial information. Assists with costing, projecting, analyzing and organizing data. Assists in projects related to specific department or Finance in general. May be expected to complete a project or projects from start to finish of varying levels of responsibility. Interacts with all levels of business and across functions The Accounting and Finance Interns will partner with the Revenue and will gain hands-on industry experience in the Accounting field. What will help you succeed Required Qualifications: Education: Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related Field Local to Detroit, MI and able to come to the office 4 days a week. Preferred Qualifications: Work experience: 0-1 Years. Prior accounting or audit internship experience is a plus. Considering a career in Finance or Accounting Familiar with one or more of the following skillsets: Business Math Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint Understanding of the Stock Market Valuation Financial Statements Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
