About the Role As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you are the heart of our patient experience. Working under the guidance of the Nurse Manager and the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, you ll provide professional, age-specific care that truly makes a difference. You aren t just performing tasks; you are collaborating with physicians and a multi-disciplinary team to ensure every patient receives high-quality, compassionate support. Your Impact: Clinical Support: Master essential services including monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily ADLs, and performing clinical procedures as requested. Proactive Observation: Serve as the clinical eyes and ears by identifying and reporting changes in a patient s condition to the supervising Nurse or Physician. Seamless Communication: Act as a vital link for our patients by communicating their needs clearly and documenting all interactions accurately within the medical record. Team Collaboration: Partner with the broader healthcare team to deliver skilled care tailored to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Hourly Pay Rate: $16.87 - $24.88 Qualifications Education: Prefer a high school diploma or GED. Experience: Prefers at least one (1) year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience. Specialized Training: Must successfully complete approved Valleywise Health computer classes. Certification/ Licensure: Requires licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bilingual is preferred. Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people. Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
